Nestled in the Tuscarora Mountains of rural Pennsylvania lives a maker of folk art dolls, each creation is made with a labor of love in the very home where the doll maker grew up, her childhood memories include playing in the woods, wading in the creeks and catching frogs in the pond, all these memories help for the inspirations of the creations that come out of the doll makers studio.
Well I think Spring is finally here in our beautiful mountains and it has me in the creating mood!! This past winter I was busy working on all sorts of new patterns and designs and building my stock for all of the wonderful spring crafts shows that central Pennsylvania has to offer! One of my new designs is an original bear pattern, now I must take him from my sketch pad to pattern form to the finished product!!! He's going to be a whimiscal antique looking clown bear, who spent many years at the circus!!
